Start an eBusiness and Build A Web Site to Make Money Online

To make money online all you need to do is take the time to start an ebusiness and build a web site, right? Wrong, stats show that most, 85-90%, of new ebusinesses don't produce any significant income for the owner. Once the new marketer realizes that build and they will come just isn't true they have to make a decision, continue the same way and see if the money starts rolling in or learn the correct way to make money online and invest some time learning.

Knowing that there is a little of your time required to learn online business success and the willingness to invest the time puts you ahead of most new marketers. A little learning equals a little money and the more you learn the more you can earn. The first step required to make money online is to learn the process first, you will still be earning before those that don't because they never will. This gives you a huge edge so don't tell anyone.

Starting an ebusiness is really just saying that you are going to be more than just a fly by night person. Establish who you are right from the beginning so people know you are serious. Build a web site around your niche isn't a requirement to make money online, actually many people make money with affiliate marketing and never have their own web site.

I personally prefer to have my own web sites and pre-sell my visitors before sending them on to any affiliate program but then again I love to build a web site. I also like to capture their name and email address so that I can help them make money online while earning more myself. A win-win situation.

If you set a goal to capture names and email addresses you are on the right track. I am sure you have heard the money is in the list and it is, well it is and it isn't...

... if you have targeted your niche correctly through surveys and research you will likely have a list that wants what you have but if you haven't done your home work you will find anyone that does signup up will quickly unsubscribe because they are not receiving what they expected.

One thing that I like to make money online with is my hobbies, things I have such an interest in that I would do them for free, plus I know how much money I am willing to spend on my hobbies. I also know how much my friends spend as well and in that way I know the market or niche because I am part of it.

Note: When looking for a niche you don't have to look for a niche that will totally support your lifestyle. Instead you can have multiple niches for multiple streams of income. This will save your butt if any of the niches you have producing stops over night for any reason at all.

I always prefer multiple streams of income rather than have one income source that could stop and leave me in a real jam. Many small niches with enough people so you profit will increase as you continue to add more income sources and in this way helps your finances to be more stable.

So find that niche, research it so you know there is potential, start an ebusiness and build a web site for each niche you start and grow that list. Focus...
